We've chosen public parks so the children can go there any time during the week, take friends there, and grow older with that space. They feel that sense of belonging within their environment and responsibility for preserving it.
These are the most treasured sessions at NNS. They require a longer-term commitment which means we can see the most growth in children and can get to know each other in a much more meaningful way.

These are for children who may find the full-day programme a little too much, may want their parent nearby, or would benefit from a calmer sensory environment for their learning journey.
Where and When: Created with the families, so this is flexible.
Currently Tuesday/Friday mornings

We aim to make this as accessible for whānau as we can.

What is a regular day like?

This is a generalisation of the daily flow. Children will be free to eat when they are hungry, set their own times as a group based on their intentions, and choose their own challenges and projects.
